Lawyer specialising in strategic urban planning at the Ibero-American centre for strategic urban development - CIDEU in Barcelona - Spain - Master in procedural law at the University of Medellín. Professor at undergraduate and postgraduate level at a number of universities in Latin America and Europe. He has been a keynote speaker at the World Urban Forums in Sao Paulo - Brazil / Medellin - Colombia, Quito - Ecuador, Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia, and Abu Dhabi - United Arab Emirates, and keynote speaker for the World Urban Forum in Poland 2022.

Consultant on strategic territorial and government planning in Latin America and the Caribbean. Advisor to the Secretary of Education of Medellin, co-creator and later director of the Agency of Higher Education of Medellin - SAPIENCIA, creator and later president of the urban group Medellin, director of Education without borders, in Colombia, manager of Indeportes Antioquia and Secretary of tourism also of Antioquia and currently director of the office of external relations of the department.
