The City of Malaga´s project to host an International Exhibition in 2027 is presented at the 16th edition of SIMED, the Mediterranean Real Estate Exhibition, which is held from today until November 7 in the Malaga Trade Fair and Congress Center (FYCMA).
As in previous editions of SIMED, the Malaga City Council is participating in this event with a 100 m2 exhibition stand which is jointly occupied by the Municipal Urban Planning department and the Municipal Housing Institute. This year´s stand features the municipal EXPO2027 project to support the economic reactivation and to attract investments.
In one of the panels of the municipal stand, information related to the Expo2027 Malaga project called, 'The Urban Era: towards the sustainable city' is displayed. This project will provide Malaga with new spaces, in the medium and long term, in the natural expansion area of the City. It plans for more than 85% of the area to be green spaces and the City will gain new facilities. It also promotes the development of 1,440 new sustainable and efficient homes. Likewise, other data for the planned urban development in that area is also displayed in the panel. All this information can be consulted on the website http://expo2027.malaga.eu/es.
