THE ANDALUSIAN PARLIAMENT SHOWS ITS SUPPORT FOR THE CELEBRATION OF EXPO 2027 IN MÁLAGA

In an Institutional Declaration approved on June 24, the Andalusian Parliament endorses this project on which the city has been working since 2019.

The Expo 2027 that Málaga promotes already has the support of more than 150 institutions, entities, companies and groups, at national and local level, that have already confirmed their strong commitment to this initiative.

The Andalusian Parliament has recently shown its support for the Málaga project to host an International Exhibition in 2027. In an Institutional Declaration dated June 24, acknowledging the potential of the province of Málaga, the Andalusian chamber has included its explicit support for this project on which the city has been working since 2019, together with the Andalusian Regional Government, the Provincial Council of Málaga and the business and social community of the city.

Specifically, the text reads as follows: "The Parliament of Andalusia shows its support for the project 'The urban era: towards the sustainable city' of the city of Málaga to host the International Exhibition in 2027 on the theme of sustainable cities, highlighting the example of Málaga in making compatible the demographic growth and urban development with the promotion of the environment and the adoption of innovative solutions that foster a better quality of life for citizens”.

The Málaga project to host this Expo in 2027 has the support of more than 150 national and local institutions, entities, companies and groups, which have already signed up to this initiative.
